Love-Powered Living by Winifred Wilkinson Hausmann

Winifred Hausmann Love-Powered Living

Imagine you had the wisest grandmother in the world. It’s the mid-1980’s, Ronald Reagan is President and the whole world is concerned about confrontation with the Soviets. You go to her because you’re having trouble dealing with some people and it’s really wrecking your life. She listens. She sits quiet for a moment and then she says to you,

“Send them atomic bombs of love!”

That woman is Winifred Wilkinson Hausmann. You can visit her and draw from her wisdom through the wonderful book that is being shared with the whole world through the generosity of her family. Her phrase, Send them Atomic Bombs of Love!, is from the final chapter in A Guide to Love-Powered Living. She writes in that chapter,

But always there is something that you, as an individual, can do, and it is your responsibility to do that! Nothing is hopeless, and nothing is ever final — unless you choose to believe in hopelessness and finality. Always there is something that can be done to improve conditions. There is something you can do. To prepare for your greater work, begin by learning to love.

There are many books on the market about learning to love. I have found the best ones are those written by people who themselves know how to love. Until now, my sole favorite here on TruthUnity has been Frank Giudici’s Love Yourself Into Wholeness. Winifred Wilkinson’s Love-Powered Living now sits along side it as my goto source when I need help.
